Trucks’ Response to the Disaster in
Haiti
We accomplish this through first accumulating resources;
vehicles, equipment, supplies, financial support and teams
of medical professionals. We then identify existing
ministry bases in North and South America with a vision to
develop mercy ministry. We then link the resources with the
need.
Our Mercy Truck locations partner doctors, dentists and
other medical professionals from around the world along
with evangelism teams on short-term outreaches. While
dentists and doctors minister to the physical needs of the
people the evangelism teams can minister to the spiritual
needs through the distribution of Bibles, performing dramas
and sharing the love of Christ.
These short-term teams come alongside existing ministries
operating in a particular area and serving a particular
people group. This ensures that discipleship and ministry
continue long after the truck has driven away.
